Despite being underdogs in all but one of the playoff games that they played in, the Baltimore Ravens will be slowly riding through Charm City today as Baltimore will play host for the Super Bowl Champion parade for the first time in 12 years.
The victory celebration will begin with an introduction from Baltimore City Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, followed by the parade that is scheduled to begin at City Hall at 10:45am. The parade will proceed south on Commerce Street and continue on to Pratt and Howard Streets and ultimately end at M&T Bank Stadium.
Next, beginning at 12:30 PM, all fans have been encouraged to attend the celebration featuring both our World Champion Baltimore Ravens as well as some live entertainment at M&T Bank Stadium once the parade comes to an end there. Worried about the weather? Don't be; the event will be held rain or shine and get this: it's FREE for all fans! Concessions, merchandise, and restrooms will be available at the stadium.
Parking for this celebration is free in Lots F,G,H & J and will open at 9 AM. Unfortunately, no tailgating will be permitted in these lots. Fans can enter M&T Bank Stadium through gates A, B, C & D beginning at 10am.
It is certainly going to be a great time today as the City of Baltimore will be celebrating it's first major sporting championship since the Ravens won the Super Bowl 12 years ago, and perhaps there will be another parade not too long from now for the Baltimore Orioles….
